Greetings all,

So I'm pretty set on getting a Silverstone FT03 case for my mATX system which I bought last year. I'm also planning on learning to drive by the time the year's out, and would like a fool-proof way of taking my computer in it's new smaller home (currently it's inside an Antec P182 I've had for several years, a bit surplus to requirements!). I can see that Silverstone make a bag specifically for transporting their cases, but bizarrely it turns out they don't sell them in the EU.

Anyway, does anyone think I actually need one of these bags? I could import it but it'd be a bit steep at about £50. If anyone thinks it is a good idea I get a bag to transport the computer, does anyone know of any good quality alternatives that are available here?

Thanks, Tom.

I just carry my computer around. It's a big old akasa eclipse case. Steel frame thing. Survives sitting on the back seat of a car just fine - it's a big steel box after all.

You could look at transport straps that wrap around case and don't completely enclose it. E.g. an old review of Xbags (think no longer available)

Not sure how suitable straps would be for the FT03 series. As looking at pictures for mini (itx) model the panels clipped on instead of a secure fixing via screws, so could be a chance of them detaching while carrying. If the micro ATX model is the same.
