Hello all, I have always has shuttles before, plug in the bits and they work!
I have recently bought an abit f-190HD, 2 x 2gb kits of ballistix 5300, 2 x 250gb 7200.10 drives, e6600, 8800gts, sata dvd and cosair 520 psu with the intention of getting the silverstone SG03 case when it finally becomes available.
It so far has been an enormous pain to get things working:-
wont boot off the sata dvd when raid0 is enabled
vista64 runs SO slow with 4gig, ok with 3, 4 just kills it
xp seems ok but crashes occasionally
stability issues with the abit mobo, seems quite a few people have problems
had to rma 1 kit of ballistix as it was doa
sg03 case release data gets keeps getting pushed back
Now in the 3 weeks have had this I seem to have spent more time on the net reading about how to try to make it work properly than actually using it and am getting a bit peeved to be honest.
So I think i'm looking at cutting my losses and getting an atx mobo that will work with 4gb ram and vista64 (needs a memory remap option in the bios?) and a small nice looking atx case.
Any recommendations please?
