I've seen quite a few of the new Lian Li cases being shown at Computex feature only space for SFX-L power supplies, which seems a bit curious to me. I understand with power demands of components decreasing, many people won't need 1500W ATX PSU's, but it still seems a bit limiting to my mind for a manufacturer to restrict potential builds in this way. Furthermore, a quick search doesn't seem to reveal that many SFX-L PSU's actually available anyway. Is this a burgeoning sector, and we'll see more available soon?

Most cases which use SFX / L PSU's are fairly small so single GPU / CPU. For that there are models on the market which already go up to 600 watts so more then enough for most GPU / CPU combination you can think of. I know Silverstone are working on bringing a 700W to the market so really no issue with even some 2 way combo's.

Looking at their releases they seem to support single GPU only so not really an Issue.

Silverstone, Corsair and Lian-Li themselves do a range of PSU's. Personally using a Silverstone 500 SFX unit in the Lian-Li PC-05S, great little unit and had no issue with 4790k and Titan X.

EDIT: saw one SFX-L case with ATX support, though a 700W unit should still have you covered for most reasonable combinations

There is a whole slew of SFX-L units hitting the market this year from various manufacturers, I saw some 800W examples from Silverstone a few days ago in Taipei!
