Good morning folks,

I've recently purchased the Aerocool QS-102 https://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA-111-AE&groupid=2362&catid=2278 for my media server I'm building, but after receiving the case and looking for an SFX PSU. I'm struggling find one.

I've found the BeQuiet BN227 https://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA-088-BQ&groupid=701&catid=123&subcat=2462 but I really can't see how it'll work. The case specs do say it requires an SFX supply and the BeQuiet PSU is an SFX supply, but is that all I need to match up in this case?

The place where the PSU goes in the case looks as if the supply goes in length ways, but the PSU has it's wires and socket on it's length sides, which means they would be both blocked. :S

I hope I've made some sense at least. :)

Thanks
Craig

Any SFX power supply should fit. I put together a PC for a friend in that exact case a few months back. There wasn't a huge amount of room inside (was running a DVD drive, SSD and 3.5 inch HDD so no space to hide cables) but it all fitted and worked perfectly. Was very impressed with the case for the money and ventilation was enough for the Sandybridge Celeron she uses. I used the cheapest Silverstone https://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA-355-SV and even that at 300W was overkill for the PC consequently very quiet - pretty sure I couldn't hear it once the side was back on.

Brilliant, thanks for the reassurance :)

I think I missed the Silverstone ones, I'll have a gander at them in a second.

I think 300w would be overkill for what I'm using it for as well, but as long as its a damn good PSU :) This PC will be my media server and won't be turned off at all :)

I was banking on the BeQuiet ones to be honest but after looking at this Silverstone, I'm going to buy that one this Friday :)
