Updating my little unRAID NAS, it's going into a Jonsbo N3 ITX case. I'm struggling for which PSU to pick, my specs will roughly be:

CPU - Intel 14100
Storage - 4 WD Red drives, which will very slowly work it's way to a maximum of 8 (this will take years for me)
GPU - None
RAM - 2x8GB DDR5
Case fans - x2 Noctua AF-A9 and possibly x2 Noctua AF-A8

It's mostly a Plex NAS and won't be working particularly hard, power consumption should be low. My gaming ITX system has the pre 2024 variant of the Corsair SF750 in it which is excellent, however it seems that Corsair discontinued the SF450 variant and I'm struggling to find a good quality, modular, quiet (92mm fan) lower wattage SFX PSU. Be Quiet have a 300w but it's not modular and has a 80mm fan, Silverstone ST30F is 300w, has a 92mm fan but sadly isn't modular. Should I just buy a used SF450 or does anyone have any recommendations?

Thanks :(

I think you may be correct, damn you Corsair!
I think it's just the sign of the times - people want high wattage PSUs and don't mind paying the extra cost.

Why don't you consider a barrel jack based PSU? It'll be more efficient and easy to find. LTT did a video for a NAS using a barrel jack PSU IIRC and it was cheap.

I have the pre 2024 Corsair SF750 too and it's great. I see that there are ITX/SFX PSUs in excess of 1000 watts now which is crazy.

I bought a 1000W Corsair SFX from the B Grade section for 50% off recently.

I was just looking and saw Thermalright selling SFX PSUs with big discounts so I just ordered a 550W modular one for £55.00 (TR-TGFX 550)

The selling site is from the far east and it should be here next week.

Yeah I think that's correct sadly. I was also just trying to look into HDPlex or Pico PSU as a potential option, I'll check out the LTT video though to see as I don't know anything about barrel jack PSU's, thanks!

That's the TGFX 550 is the exact one I was looking at as it's discounted currently, love to know how you get on with yours once it arrives :)

Have a look at this:

Edit: I'm trying to find the video with the barrel jack PSU but I'm struggling. There are several NAS centric motherboards out there and a couple have the barrel jack PSU option.

PSU arrived new and shrink wrapped. On the day specified via Evri.

Follows the annoying tend of more CPU aux cables than GPU but good enough for a 2 x 8pin GPU on a single cable. Bonus adapter bracket included.

Compared to the £45 Gamermax Bronze, non-modular, no bracket and a fixed fan speed i.e. annoying!
