SG01 - What Graphics card?

Hi,

Looking for a reasonably powerful graphics card (512Mb) preferably passively cooled to work in a Silverstone SG01 case with a Corsair HX620w PSU and Giga Byte GA-Q35M-S2 mobo.

The card is not for gaming, but must give decent 2D performance for photos and basic video editting.

Any suggestions?

If you're not gaming then any card will do - something like an ATi HD3400 series?

The motherboards built in graphics will give great 2d performance.

get a cheapo 8600 or something if your not doing anything special

Even at higher resolutions like 1600 * 1200?

Is the 3400 or 8600 passively cooled?

3400 is passive cooled yeah

Yea should be fine , my friends just rebuilt his sugo and done away with a graphics card. Pretty sure its the same onboard chip as yours.

Thats on a 22" widescreen tft , He uses the machine to download & watch movies aswell as ripping dvd's and editing them. He's more than happy with it.
