Any owners of the Silverstone SG03 case can you please post some pics up here of your Case etc? Be nice to have them all in one place. I know a couple of you have had yours this week so it would be great to see pics of the case and what you think of it when it comes to Noise / Cooling / Cable management. Thanks

Loads of room for good cable management, but my camera does not switch on, anyone have a working camera?...
Also Silverstone's Quality Control is really bad, like the previous case, mine has a few scratches, also has some screws missing on the chasis..

Screws missing!! Yikes. I would contact the supplier and complain mate.

So, loads of room for cable management? Did you unplug the front port cables (USB etc). I hear some people have to make room.

I have a modular PSU so should be better. I have changed my DVDrw and HD to Sata too as the cables are better. Just got to coax / convince myself now to actually go and buy a SG03!!

Well the front panel connectors are fine all you need are a few cable ties and some cable clips and you can easily tidy up the front panel usb/power/audio cables, i'm suprised how neat I have made it, even managed to tidy up the SATA HD connectors and managed to route the SATA Power cable around the case.

Only cable that will obstruct the 120mm fans is the ATX Power connector..

Just got the RAM/Expansions Cards/PSU to install, also need to sort out the DVDRW it's IDE and well, using a standard IDE cable is out of the question need a 1 device 60CM Round IDE cable which only ACRYAN make but cannot find any in the country...might go IDE to SATA but only place to pick it up on the streets in $$&(&£ and it's £23, talk about being in central london cand cannot even get a IDE to SATA convertor..

I have changed my DVDrw and Hard drive to sata as the cables are more manageable in such a small space.

Come on guys, get you pics up on here! Hungry to see what your SG03's look like inside / out etc, plus what you think of the case.

Silverstone SG03 S
Foxconn G9657MA-8EKRS2H
Enermax Liberty 500W, modded with Nexus 120MM Fan @ 12V
Core2Duo E6600
Silverstone NT06 Lite
4* 1GB OCZ DDR2800 4-4-4-15
2* Seagate 120GB 7200.2 in RAID0
2* Scythe Quiet Drive SDQ2500
2* Nocuta 120mm Running at 7.5V
Radeon X1950 Pro 512MB fitted with Arctic Cooling Accelero S1
Soundblaster X-Fi Xtreme Music
PDI Deluxe/Sweetspot Capture Card
Pioneer 109XLS "Silver Limited Edition Aluminium Face" + IDE to SATA Convertor

-All cables are placed/tied so they do not obstruct any airflow from the 2 front 120mm fans, the ATX PSU Cable sits between the two fans so is does not block much air.., spending the extra 45 minutes on cable management pays off..

The HDD Power/DATA cables might look messy but it's the neatest I could get them, also they are on the side so they do not block airflow over the hard drive enclosures..

How's the Accelero S1? You run it passively?

Ran it in a different machine seems ot run 52 idle, 62 load with poor cooling, so should run better in this..., the themal tape on the heatsinks that come with it are utter crap, spent 40 minutes removing it then used the stock Ati themal pads to stick them on as they do a much better job..

It comes packaged with tape holding the doors shut, he has just not removed it yet. Stickytape is NOT required to hold the doors shut during normal use :D

Is this case any good with overclocking, am thinking of down size-ing to one of these with a E2160 clocked to 3 Ghz, am worried about the lack of space when every thing is installed - what the temp like on motherboard & cpu?

Cheers

Is this taller than the sg01?

Yes. Smaller footprint but taller. Overall volume of the case is around the same as it still fits in the Sugo pack. :)

Got fed up so chased the order up this morning.

Turns out they did have stock, and had forgotten me!

Guy on the phone was really apologetic, offered to refund me the cost of delivery though, and promise it would be with me tomorrow.

I'll take some pics when it arrives.

I also took the step of adding an Asus P5K-VM motherboard to the order, ah well, may as well be prepared for 45nm! :D

Just got the "dispatched" email so fingers crossed for tomorrow morning! :)

Looking forward to the pics Tute :) How comes u chose the asus over the giga board ?
May swap boards myself soon ready for 45/quad

Well apparantly the Asus comes with 1:1 memory divider without having to flash the BIOS, but more than anything, it was the only one in stock at the retailer!

Gonna look forward to this, i'm planning to shoehorn water cooling (with a little help from Jokester) into this case and get it clocking. :D
