The spec in my sig is the last pc i had, at the time i had a powermac g5 for non gaming duties and have been mac on ly ever since.
I want to play some pc racing sims as i have a decent wheel setup but this is all it will be used for really!
I am looking at a Sandybridge based mobo - Gigabyte GA-H67N but i do not know the difference between H61 and H67 chipset??
CPU wise i am thinking of starting with an i3 2100 as have been told for most sims i want this is fine and i still have an upgrade patch to follow.
Gfx card i have been told the ATi 5770 is very goo bang for buck.
4gb ram, hdd i have a 320gb sata drive from imac i will use until i get an SSD.
Does this all sound feasible in the SG05 and spec wise what do you think, i am basically replacing a PS3 with this as GT5 is only game i play on it and i have pretty much 100% the game and am just fed up with Sony - i am not looking to get back into the old gaming ways i had with constant upgrading, i would be happy with console levels of gfx as it is the games i am interested in more than the visuals!
