SG05 queries continued - slimline laptop + 2 x 2.5" drives

Have already got a slimline optical and 2.5ssd mounted
Was going to get a 3.5 but have now bought a 1tb 2.5 samsung
whats the best way to mount this additional drive now without using the 3.5 bracket ?

I'd suggest on the floor of the case, between the front and the motherboard. Just velcro it in place.

Actually, as Wild9 has suggested, the bottom of the 2.5" mounting would be a better idea due to having the SATA power cable there already. I don't think the second connector will stretch to the bottom of the case.
