Been playing this on the PS2 for a few nights and it's possibly the best game I've seen on the PS2. Just fantastic.

Is that the one where you have to climb onto those giants backs to find their weak spots to kill em, if so i saw this the other day on sky, looked brilliant. :)

It is VERY good...and a joy trying to suss out how to defeat each collossi. Amazing what a PS2 can still do!

I've just beaten the one that's on top of the canopy...with the MASSIVE sword/part of a building! Took a while to work out how to sort him..but feels very rewarding once you do.

If you enjoyed this and have never played Ico I suggest you track a copy down. From the same development team. Just as enjoyable and one of the most under-rated games on the PS2.

I think it's a lot better than ICO.

What the developers achieve with the game is something you don't think you'll see with a PS2, seriously.

Also, this is the first game since FFVII that's made me really emotionally involved. A number of times I've felt utter devastation! :(

just checked and shadows of colossus is acutally ico2.

does that mena i should get ico first, seems quite cheap at under £20 aswell.

You should have ICO anyway, the games a classic, possibly the most underrated title of ALL time.

Shadow of the Colossus isn't Ico2 :)

Yes its by the same team and has the same graphical style and has dark shadows in and other similarities I won't go into.

If anything its a prequel, but its not that either.
Its just a game on its own.... but a very good one. (not a patch on Ico though)

Superb, one of those games that stays with you forever you can tell that theres a lot of work been put into this it really comes through. 10/10

I rented this recently and quite enjoyed it, but didn't get to play it for too long as I rented 2 other games as well. Might pick it up cheap when it eventually comes down in price. As someone said, it's amazing graphically considering it's on the PS2.

I've just collected Ico and Shadows and I hate to say it but I doubt I'll play Ico much more, unless someone tells me its really really short.

I love that type of puzzle game but there is something deeply frustrating about Ico that I can't put my finger on.

Shadows of the colossus on the other hand I started after watching a friend struggle even mounting the first colossi...? started again myself and whizzed through the first two, love the second one :)

I'm hankering to go back to it now ... :D
