Shadowplay will not record..

Im after a bit of advice or a push in the right direction if anyone would be so kind.

Basically I am wanting to record some gameplay clips and I have been using the windows 10 Xbox DVR function as it just worked but I really want to use shadowplay. If I totally disable Xbox DVR and then hit ALT Z I get the shadowplay window up but no matter what I do, the record function will not start up. Ive tried the ALT F10 too, no change.

Any suggestions?

Is it actually enabled? Use ALT+Z to bring up the menu and then drop the instant record down and select 'On'. If this is already ON, it could be the privacy settings. I've had some games where the privacy needs to be set to 'desktop' so give that a shot and see what happens.

Yeah definitely on! Will check the privacy settings though as I havent looked at that yet. Thanks for the suggestion
