I have been asked to setup a backup server for work incase of failure. I have decided to go with ShadowProtect as an imaging solution and purchase a second server.
Our current setup is Windows 2003 SBS running on a HP DL380 G3, 3.2GHz Xeon CPU.
Question 1 - is 32 bit hardware still widely available?
Question 2 - "You can do a HIR of a 32bit server onto a new server running 64bit, but not the other way round." Quoted from an email from StorageCraft.
Is this true? I would have thought it was the other way round.
Thanks
