im on ad-hoc but most evenings at some point. if anyone wants to add me to their friends list feel free. if you make a posting here ill add you to mine :p

im not the best (understatement?) on fps on consoles. as long as you either dont mind a bit of comedy or just play for fun then im your man!

Team work in infinitely more important than skill.

I'm certainly up for a few rounds sometime.

HAve you changed your mind with regards to this game.

I hope to be getting it from my rental company soon and again hopefully will be playing it after the Beta is over.

I'm playing on vista - gamertag ZoGgEr (would change it to Zogger if I owned a 360...) Can't really use my mic in the evenings atm due to the location of my computer though :(

No, it's still an average game at best but I like how everyone talks in it and is friendly. So it doesn't sound like you type of game as people can teleport through walls and kill you with the sword at random times. Also teamwork is, as stated, exponentially more important than skill.

I'm looking forward to the teleporting through walls etc. I'm all good with team work, I just don't bother with it in Halo as it is an uphill struggle to get everyone working together.

Edit I'm also friendly in games other than Halo (which I'm mostly friendly in)

You'll also get very annoyed at microsofts pathetic networking. If the host leaves the whole game end, some people take ages to get in a game and there a lot of latency issues for some people.

i like that your team can talk to you even if they are dead. its different and does encourage a lot of talk.

imho for gameplay, it is the best online fps on the 360 so far (even halo 3 beta  )

See I think it's the gameplay that lets it down. It's uninspiring but has a lot of potential.

im the minority i know (e.g. poor reviews), but i enjoy it as it reminds me of team fortress on the pc which was one my favourites.

i also happen to think forza2 is awful. why bother releasing a racing game if its not as good as pgr3? i just cant see what everyone sees in it.

at least the colin dirt demo didnt hit me as a sub-par pgr3.

its not me whos insane - its the rest of the world :p

btw kreeeee, i notice your playing now. it cant be that bad lol

Because Forza 2 is a simulation, PGR 3 is an arcade racer, they're not really comparable. Its like comparing GT and Burnout.

I never said it was bad, it just could and should have been a lot better.

I play it because of the community not the game.

If your trying to avoid playing with me just say it, I wont take offense.

i always thought pgr3 was a simulation and burnout an arcade racer. Are you saying pgr3 and burnout are both arcade racers? that cant be right.

I could possibly understand forza2 being a simulation, burnout being an arcade racer, and pgr3 somewhere in the middle (far nearer forza2 than burnout).

Even if forza2 is "more of a simulation" than pgr3, its still *hite. it just feels like you are driving a wheelbarrow or something to me. no sense of speed and no fun at all.

just to reiterate though i know im wrong, or at least i go against what 99% of everyone else thinks about it.

p.s. is anyone up for some shadowrun then? lol

Certainly not mate. However I won't stick around if I'm not having fun but you already know that :)

I was kinda having a whine because the network is always playing up for me at the moment. The game hangs for up to a minute when a new player joins!
