shadowrun works on xp

haha that'll teach MS to force people to vista, i knew someone would make an XP patch sooner or later! just hope it works for Halo and forth coming games.
 
There is one for Halo already. There will be one for every Vista game released.

Untill DX10 starts to do something worth while, Vista is looking a little bland for gamers.
 
same as has been going on for the last few years with games that demanded windows XP rather than 2000
 
I always found it amusing that Halo 2, an Xbox 1 game, could only be run on Vista. I very much doubt it was ever a technical consideration, more likely just a ruse to sell more copies of Vista.

the XP patch for Halo 2 works nice too.

much faster loading and can run the game with max settings and still have a smooth game unlike under vista ;)
