I don't think I'd bother unless someone is paying the leccy for you or you're using it as a download/firewall box or something so it'll be on anyway

Ever heard of a heated blanket - well you've got the first Pentium heated mattress!

and your welcome btw - always happy to help a folder in need, not much left for the rest of the folks here, but I'm sure I'll find something - still got a few boxes to unpack :D

I'll take a conroe system then. Or an X2... or even a dual core Pentium.

I'm not fussy :D

If you are folding on low spec machines wont the use of energy and addition to global warming outweigh the benefit of the folding?

Probably :D

It wouldn't shock me if half the crunchers here would sacrifice the planet in order to stomp someone :p

I think we have just found a new angle to folding...

For every person you stomp a star explodes :D

Wonder who it will be to make our sun explode lol... [looks at Bigstan]

Not if you generate the energy by turning towers into tread mill / exercise bike ;)

Also by having a folding farm in your home - you could turn your thermostat down 2 degrees for each pentium used - it's a new for of CHP (combined heat and power)
