Shall I add 512mb?

I have just got a new PC that comes with 1gb or 3200 RAM. (2 x512mb) It does have 2 extra ram slots though, so would it be worth me adding the 512mb of 3200 ram from my old PC to give me 1.5gb? Or would this not be worth it as it wouldnt be dual channel? Eventually I plan on getting another 512mb and having 2gb, but is 1.5gb worth it for now?

it depends what you want to use the pc with and id recommend avoiding filling all of the mem slots if possible as it slows performance

I use it mainly for gaming - so would i be better off with 2 or 3x512mb 3200 ram?
