Shall I buy NFS Shift, or Shift 2 Unleashed?

I'm currently thoroughly enjoying F1 with my G27 but am looking for more touring car type racing.

Should I be getting Shift 1 or 2?

I know there are plenty of sims out there offering touring cars, but I'm looking for something a bit more arcadey like F1.

I own both, shift 2 is better online more customization and more options. You dont need both.

Buy something else instead, I hated Shift, even with a wheel. Handling is awful, so if you want anything remotely sim-like, don't bother.

If you want an accessible sim, go for rfactor or GTR:Evolution/Race07/Race On etc. Very good handling and realistic feel.

If you want fun, choose another codemasters title like DiRT 2 or 3. They work really well with the G27.

I have all the DiRTs and have also played rFactor and LFS - I'm just looking for something a bit more updated and maybe a bit more acardey.

i hated shift one but two is a very good game. one of the few games i have actually played a lot of recently.
plus you can make the shift games as real or arcadey as you want in the settings.
takes about an hour or so of tweaking until you have the settings how you like them
