Hi all

I'm after some base units that need to be no bigger that 460mm deep for a run of approximately 2400mm and a height of 900mm or less.

So far I've the only place I've found is diy kitchens but they have a minimum order value of £750 and won't budge on this. I've looked at doing wall units but these are only 300mm deep except howdens who do 360mm iirc but you need a trade account.

I've also looked at bathroom units.

Anyone got any thoughts?

Cheers
Simon

Cut full sized units down. Circular saw on the rear end and fit a new back panel and top support panel if needed.

Plan A

Plan B
IKEA do some shallow base units that are 370mm deep, not including door.
They do 400, 600 & 800mm widths, but you will need to do some DIY to match the rest of a standard kitchen.

Plan C
Baton the wall and get a deeper work surface.

Note that IKEA cabinets have no space at all for services

You want c720mm or 900mm high wall units rather than base units. You can then order the feet too or make a baton/plinth to rest on. They will be c300 deep. If it is offset from wall rather than need for depth on the unit this can be done via a rear baton.

Base units are c720mm high + feet as standard.

If you do need deeper and non standard sizing then £££

Wickes or B&Q for their takeaway flat pack wall units is the cheapest way.

Thanks for the replies all, I don't need service access as its soley to tidy up a kind of hall way that we currently have a kallax unit in.

I'd really as much depth as possible so thinking the saw job may be the best option, thinking b and q so I don't feel to aggrieved hacking it!

Thanks for the offer @pp111
