We have here

AMD fx8320 (std - I killed the overclockers bios with furmark?)
Corsair hydro h75

Radeon r9 290 4gb with a corsair hydro h55 with a pull and push fan , and card still has standard fan.

Gigabyte-ga-a970-ud3p

Corsair Venegance 2x4gb ddr3 1600mhz

120gb ocz agility 3 with win 10 os

Just now formatting a 3tb Toshiba MG03-ACA-300

OCZ 700w psu

NZXT Midtower case

Front led 5x fan touch control

led fan temp sensors:
1 sandwiched in gpu (just poked in a gap)
2 on top of gpu
3 between hdd and ssd
4 ram
5 gigabyte block on mobo

Fans controlled by fab controller

1 gpu cooler primary fan
2 gpu cooler secondary fan
3 side fan
4 top front
5 top back

Cpu fan pin on mobo - cpu cooler fans x2

H75 plugged into... Next to the 'erp ready' white writing on the mobo. Can not remember off the top of my head.

And the h55 is powered of 'pwr_fan2' if I recall

I bought it like this, but changed the temp sensor locations, fan numbers and killed the overclocking with furmark :( can't seem to enable overclocking again. It was running 4.4ghz

Let me know what you think and suitable 2nd hand upgrades...

I'm also looking to put it all in a glass topped desk. Tempted to have my own res's out of absolut vodka bottles as have a wideish lid. (Y)

Oh yea, the temps are after 3-4hrs running the hdd format (didn't do quick format as second hand) and watching Linus tech tips on YouTube.

And the front usbs coupled with the memory card readers and Mic audio are broken. So is the audio. So I'll be replacing that unit at some point. Luckily have more on the rear.

I hope you don't mind me being honest , but it actually looks like you literally tipped a box of random pc parts into a case, shook it violently and took some pictures.

It looks like a build from 2005 :D

Personally i would start with some cable ties and cover the window with some newspaper.

Haha!! How did you know??

Yea it is a mess, but there's not much room in there really. And those cables are just a pita. Don't seem able to unplug unused psu cables so they just have to sit there taking up room.

It's got pretty lights though! But unfortunately the clear panel faces a wall.

Well considering I drive a car from 03 and enjoy playing age of empires 2, 2005 ent too shabby.

Cable ties won't help the neuron network of cables in there.

I wanted to put the hdd in the empty space opposite the graphics card. But I can't / don't know how to take the front off. So remove the graphics card you say? I looked at doing that. Then quickly had preminitions of things going wrong quickly.
So the hdd is sat on top of the ssd (in a plastic housing thing giving 20mm gap or so) on the bottom of the case. Took hours to format!

If you took out the fan controller and plug the fans into mobo/psu you could eliminate a good deal of those cables and make clearer runs. It may seem daunting but cable management is quite easy really. Remember that they are restricting airflow as well as looking messy. As for getting the HDD in then removing the GPU is easy. 2 screws inside the case near the back of the GPU and a small retention clip that will need pushing or pulling (depending on motherboard) at the back of the PCI-E slot. Then just pull it out enough to get the HDD in.

Modular power supply. Modular power supply. Modular power supply and sleeved cables. Even still I'm sure you could have hidden more of the wiring beind the tray out of sit with some zip ties and paitence.

There's ample room in that case to do perfect cable management.

I would focus less on the led lights and more on the cables. There's nothing wrong with the build itself or the parts but the led lights kinda highlight the 'mess'.
