Yea but dude, if you have like 15 of those

Somethings going to happen, right?

:D

my parents sell it in there shop downstairs and you do not need to be 18.

it is also sold with soft drinks at cash and carrys and pretty much all retailers.

the reason i bought this up is this,
i work in an organisation which states no alcohol allowed, shandy bass, has alcohol in it, no matter how small the amount, therefore we would need to change our policies if we allowed the people we care for to drink it.
along the lines of , drinks which have a negligible amount of alocohol in them -less than 0.5%, would be discretionary to the staff (shandy bass fits into this category)
also we need to look at this due to litigation reasons.

pretty much all places will let you buy at any age but now the question has been posed i'm intrested to know what are the legalitys on this ?

Edit - legaly, you have to be 16 to drink it in a pub but I can't find any information on the age limit when purchasing it from a store.

So basically 0.5% is non-alcoholic under licensing laws, if you have rules in-house concerning alcohol you could still be breaking them as it does have alcohol but if your concerned about licensing laws don't - it's not alcoholic so far as that is concerned.

ahhhh, that makes sense then, thats why allot of wine that is classed as non-alcoholic has 0.5% alcohol in it then as it's the maximum that it can contain and still be classed as a non-alcoholic drink, intresting.
