Like my topic says, I have my iBook which is connected to a wireless connection, and I would like to transfer this connection through an ethernet cable into my PC.

I have a wireless card on the PC, but it is terrible, always loses signal and is nearly impossible to get anything done.

I googled a fair bit to try and see if I could find an answer, it is possible but I don't know how.

I tried using the OSX connection sharing program, it connects but then it doesn't assign either computer IP's so I have limited services.

If anyone has any ideas, other than to get another wireless card, It would be a great help!

You should be able to just bridge the wireless and wired interfaces on the iBook, and the PC will get an IP from whatever's at the other end of the wireless connection.

Assuming OS 10.4

System Preferences, Sharing, Internet tab.

Share connection from: AirPort, to computers using Built-in Ethernet. Then click start.
