share steam account ??

How on Earth is it entitled to want to play 2 separate games at the same time on different machines?

I find the situation ridiculously frustrating.
I'd be quite keen to play my FM14 save, while playing my FM15 save. But oh no, I can't launch 2 separate games on my pc.

Oh, I can't launch a second separate game from my Laptop either.

My girlfriend occasionally wants to play the odd game, and nope, she can't.

Offline mode's the only solution.
Origin's the same, but I think it handles it better logging in offline.

I find Steam family sharing to be absolutely pointless, and have done since it launched.

Hmm not sure what the issue is with launching more then one game from your main PC (on steam), I have done it plenty of times in the past. It must be set to certain games, but I can defo launch at least 2 from my main PC random titles.

Try doing it this moment and let me know what happens.

I share my steam account with three clan mates via Family Library Sharing, the only Issue is that you cannot all play the same game at the same time, but we dont do that any was as we only shared because each of us have different single player games we all wanted to play. works a charm for that!

Batman and Terraria both playing on same PC same steam account:

Can alt tab between the two but it can crash though. Crashes are to be expected, steam will allow you to play as many games on one PC as your PC will allow but each game will be using the audio and other stuff so it will cause a crash no doubt.

According to the FAQ, that shouldn't work.

That's odd.
Just tried it myself and it works, I swear it never used to.

Oh well, that means I can play FM14/15 at the same time at least.

Why would you do this to yourself?

I take it you've never played FM?

I'm heavily invested in my FM14 save, so much so that leaving my save to play FM15 was like giving up crack.

On FM14, I have a bunch of epic youth prospects coming through, I have a player on the verge of becoming the highest scoring player at international level on the planet.

But on my FM15 save I've started strong and been really enjoying it (I'd hope so after 100 hours too)

Like I said before, that's how it's working for me on 3 different machines, seems I'm not the only one as BigBoy has exactly the same. I think it only kicks you off if you are using the same account on 2 machines, but 2 different accounts will be fine.
I'm pretty sure Valve said that's how it would work when they first announced it too.

So it works if you have three different accounts on the three machines, but the 'main' one (for want of a better word) shares its library with the other two?

I can see it wouldn't work with the same account on all three.

Valve said it wouldn't work like that.

I'll give it a try tonight myself with my brother on his account. I expect it to not work.

Oh lawd no, I wouldn't subject myself to that (I'm not particularly fond of football, if despising it counts as such).
