Howdy 
After using the Win7 beta for a while now, I'm noticing more and more nuances, neat changes that should be pointed out to others! So here's two to get us started:
Windows 7 allows multiple discreet drivers to operative at once.
This means you can run an ATI card and an nVidia card together at once, both with hardware acceleration - a function not possible with Vista's driver foundation.
As shown in this thread, I'm currently running an ATI 4870 as my main GPU, with an nVidia 9500GT purely for physx and other CUDA operations. Awesome news for those with spare nVidia cards lying around doing nothing!
3rd party codec packs no longer needed!
That's right - A fresh install of Win7 (build 7048), and all my xvid/x264 avi's thumbnails displayed correctly, and the files played correctly in WMP, without having to download any codecs! A fantastic move imo
