Shareable psn games

How do shareable psn games work, is it a hassle to share stuff ?
I read that burnout psn can be shared with 5 people ?
 
Yea you can download PSN games on upto 5 different PS3s. You just need to have the account of the person that purchased the game on the PS3 and then you can download the game from the PSN store again for free. Iirc once you have the game downloaded from PSN you can actually download it again for an unlimited amount of times on that PS3, the thing applies to 5 different PS3s. Is anyone up for sharing some games lol? I have.

Pixel Junk Monsters + Encore
Super Stardust HD + the 1 expansion, think its called Solo pack.
Echochrome
COD4 Map Pack
Flow
 
So you would need to sign in as that person to play it ?

Edit: Just read that you just need the pesrons account on the ps3.

You need the persons account details to download from their marketplace. Once you have the game downloaded you can play it with your account as it is now on your console (if that makes sense).

Some games aren't shareable so you need to make sure Burnout isn't one of them first.

I have SOCOM : Confrontation (full game off US PSN), not sure if its shareable (certainly works with my EU PSN ID) but wouldnt mind letting someone try, would love to have Burnout and Streetfighter.

I also have GTI Club+ and Flower, again don't know if its shareable.
 
Burnout is, Warhawk isn't. Me and a friend tried Warhawk and you have to wait 24 hours inbetween the 2 people using it.

Sorry to hijack this thread but I have bought myself a second PS3 for the lounge and want to download some of the games I have bought on PSN. Problem is though that I have let 4 other mates with PS3's use my account for sharing games. So now I can't download anything on my new system unless one of them deactivates my account from their console - anyone know how you actually do this?

You need to log into your account on the machine you want deactivated, then goto account settings and into the activation menu.
 
Hmm Id be tempted to share Wipeout HD for HD Remix - presume both can be?...

Dont you have to keep the original account to make sure it works in the future or something too?

Except for Warhawk. You can only play that on the account on which it was downloaded.
