Shared Accom Problem.

Hi all, we are in agreement to rent a four bed house, 4 of us signed the contract and one of the members told the property vendor that she cannot afford to pay for this term and is moving out, theyve said theyll take her to court if she doesnt pay. How liable are we the rest of the housemates to have to make up her share? For the record she can afford it, she wants to go to america on a summer trip and is saving her loan for that. Shes messed us over basically.

So, if they took her to court, we would also have to go for not paying her share? or am i being dumb.

Okay, we are usualy all billed a set amount for the room we rent, but we did sign together, ill try the students union route.

Yeah there keeping her bond to pay for how ever many weeks it takes to find a replacement if she does a runner.

Think it only goes toward initial admin fees and any damage to the room.
