ok...
3 macs in the office, a second user (lets call it SHARE) has been created on my imac since its on all the time as a shared area for everyone... people can access the git repositories from there, share files etc...
my question is regarding accessing this stuff from my imac, obviously I can just access the files directly (have set the whole SHARE user to be read/write for me) but anything I create in there gets locked for everyone else until I mess with the "Sharing & Permissions" section, setting it to read/write for the second (SHARE) user account - obviously not ideal...
Any ideas how to make this slicker? everything everyone else makes who are accessing through the network gets set to read/write for the SHARE user which is fine, since that is who they log in as...
does that make any sense?
