Sharepoint 2007: Permission to edit master pages with Sharepoint Designer

Hi all

I'm trying to edit a master page in Sharepoint 2007. From the site admin page i've chosen the master page list but when I click the drop down on the master page I want to edit I dont get the following menu:

I only get a few options (View properties, Send to, Versions History and Alert me). What permission change do I need to make to get this full menu? I want to be able to pick Edit in Microsoft Office Sharepoint Designer.

I have since found the solution:

Central Administration > Application Management > Policy for Web Application

Pick the right Web Application (mine isn't http://sharepoint that I kept changing!!!), next > Type in the user to give permission to > Click FULL CONTROL > Finish!!!
