Hi,
Im just configuring a new SP2010 installation for the new company intranet and im having a few issues with the search service.
Ive got it set to crawl a few test areas, the entire sharepoint farm as default (which i have a library setup with 1 test doc in it) and a share with the same doc.

Now according to the crawler, its found stuff, but when i goto search, nothing comes up at all!?

Additionally, i cant create crawl schedules as it just comes up with a login box when i press ok on the new schedule settings, which when i put the SP service account login into, then changes to a 404 page!

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance all :).

I'll have a ganders on Tuesday when im next officially working, keep and eye on this thread mister ;) :p.

Right, what am i looking for in the ULS?

And a username/password issue where?
Im logged in with the Site Admin login?

##EDIT##
And what's the difference between Server Search & Foundation Help Search?

##EDIT2##
Still cant create search crawl schedules & what files do i point ULS at as the logs folder in program files is empty?

##EDIT3##
Ive managed to fix the crawl schedules problem by following a tip i saw on MSDN, going through all the setup wizards again and changing now. lol.
Still cant search though :(
It crawls, and finds the limited amount of data we have in, but wont display any results. :(

##EDIT4##
It seems since ive done the above that users can now login and see the main page....and search works for them! :-o
But still not for the admin account off the server...wierd.

Is that normal?
