Hopefully someone will be able to help with this...
I know more about the SP side than the ADFS side but I am trying to clean up some permissions within SP. We have external users that authenticate using ADFS.
Under "Groups" there are a whole load of permissions starting with singlesignonroleprovider2:123123-ESOC.
My guess is that these are ADFS claim groups. Within these groups are sets of ADFS users.
Under "Groups" there is also a load of entries like
singlesignonroleprovider2:[email protected].
Why are these entries all appearing within the Groups tab? I thought it was only SharePoint or AD groups that appeared in here.
Are these entries just placeholders or whats the story?
