Sharepoint Assitance Require Please

We have a SP 2010 site in work for tracking projects on a global basis and have managed to set up a Workflow so that if a project is completed or cancelled it moves it from the current Review list into a Completed and Cancelled list.

There is an email alert set up to inform people that this has happened but what I am trying to do is have a link in the email that points to the list item that has been moved.

Does anyone know how I can achieve this please?

Slight update....

Decided to tackle it from a different approach.

Have now set up so that there is an email alert that goes out from the new list when an item is created, which is working.

Still have had no joy being able to link to the new created item. Each effort I try returns a 404.

This would be much better placed in the Enterprise section. More people likely to work with Sharepoint there

As another one that is weird, we have a few users who are not able to edit certain list items in the standard 'Edit Item' pop-up window that you get.

Some items are editable in this way, but some are not. They can go in and edit the items in the worksheet view however.

I myself am one of those affected by this error, so am fairly sure it is not a permissions issue.

Any ideas on this one?

Shelster, have you tried creating a custom workflow using SharePoint designer? I did this about 4 years ago. You need to generate an email and then use a string builder to generate a link to your item. It should be fairly easy to do.
