Sharing a broadband connection wirelessly between two PCs for under £90

If it was for desktop PC's? Then I would just buy two or three powerline homeplugs. One plugged in from the router and the other two plugs by the pc.

Its how I have my xbox's and Pc's Networked and it works a treat. Just less than 90 quid. Faultless, not wireless issues, no drop outs and more secure. unless someone wants to tap into your mains.

If your talking laptops then scrub that idea :D

Sorry I should have stated that they are for desktops PCs :)

I've never heard of this HomePlug technology before until I just searched on Google :o

It looks interesting, are they recommend on these forums? :)

A few people have them. I had trouble with my nephews wireless dropping out on his 360, so I tried on his first. 5 months and not one drop out or disconnect.

At home right now I have the router behind the TV in the lounge. The router goes to a homeplug. Then I have an xbox and a desktop PC in a plug each.

About 4 times better than the wireless connection I was getting and I have had no drop outs. I have the 85 meg plugs. I wouldnt bother with the 14.
