I've had mobile phones running Android for as long as I can remember. The last iPhone I had was the iPhone 4, so it's been awhile. As such, I've purchased many apps on Android over the years, some apps in particular with the intention that my kids could use them in the future - at the time the apps may have been on offer or something.

Anyway, fast fwd several years and my kids now have their own Samsung Android tablets. I've set up a family account so if they ever try to install any app, I get a notification on my phone and must grant permission - great feature. The question is, how on earth do I install the apps I paid for, on their tablets. I managed to install a select few at the time I set up the tablets but having a look again today, I couldn't figure it out. The vast majority of apps simply do not show up on their devices when looking in library. If I find the app manually on play store it wants me to pay again.

Anyone?

I've created their own email accounts so logged in on their accounts. On my device, I created a family account and added them to it and by doing this I've been able to download just a few of the paid apps for free - I did this at the time I set this all up (months ago).

Surely it's possible without me having to log in to my account on their devices?
