Hi i have just bought a laptop with vista installed. i want to access the files on my PC with my laptop downstairs. I have installed everthing on my router so i can use the internet by wireless on my laptop. My computer also is able to be seen in the vista networking window aswell as the laptop all under the same workgroup name i can even use the printer upstairs with my laptop. But i can still not access the folders i mark as shared eg (my documents) I keep getting a message (you might not have permission to use the network resource contact the administrator of this server) 
Is it a simple tick a box as i have search the internet but nothing please help
