Sharing Speakers between XBox and PC..

lol, i suppose that doesn't count as a competitor, but everyone will know where its from :D

Thats not what you want, thats what comes with the cable. You want a 3.5mil splitter, something that splits one 3.5 socket into 2.

Try again..

Had the same problem , wanted to use same speaker set up for both PC and 360. Tried the splitter on the back of the PC line out, it does n't work. Sound gets horribly quiet and distorted.

I use optical for my 360 and the other one for my pc. Not sure what i'll do when i get a ps3, is there such a thing as an optical splitter?

edit: wow, yes there is, never heard of it before.

I bought a Creative DDTS-100, which I run my PS3, 360, PC, Wii and Digibox through to connect to my Gigaworks speakers.

It has built in Dolby Digital and DTS decoders and can take 3 optical sources as well as 3 analog, and has standard connections for PC speakers.

Great piece of kit, but extremely hard to track down in the UK for some reason.
