Sharing steam gaming folder.

Ive a few friends coming over sat night for a few beers and a bit of multiplayer gaming. most are bring there laptops but one has only a desktop. To save him the trouble of bringing his desktop i was going to let him use my second machine.

now we own a lot of the same games on steam. so what i would like to know is if he log into His steam account on My machine will he have access to the games he Owns on steam, even tho the were DL via my steam account, or will steam make him DL his own copy

Yeah just need to log in and he's ready to go, no need to download them again.

to be spesific,
have your freind login to your second machine and he will only have access to the games and software listed in his account. if you have the games downlaoded already i.e. dungeoon defenders
he wont need to download them as its already downlaoded and isntalled.

both he an you will not be able to access the games i each others librarys you do not have access to unless your using the steam library sharing feture but that has other limitations.
