Shark S900 wind noise

Just boughing a matt black S900. It fits really well and im loving the sun visor but im having real issues with a howling wind noise at anything above 60ish. Its really quiet around town speeds but its pretty unbarable at speed. I've tried opening and closing the vents but no joy. Tilting my head back does quieten it down a bit but I don't fancy riding looking at the sky the whole time!

I'm wonding if its a fault with the fit of the visor or something as I've read nothing good reviews about how quiet the helmet is. Has anyone got the same problem? Its driving me mad....

Sorry, should have said. I ride a SV1k naked so I've got no screen...
You could be right though might try and borrow my father in laws gs and see how it is

I did wonder if a lack of screen might make a big difference but tbh my cheap old helmet had less wind roar than the shark on my current bike. It's a bugger because bar this problem I really like the helmet. I've only got a few days left if I want to send it back and I'm not sure I can live with it as is.

Cheers for the reply Nathan, I do use earplugs the whole time. This problem is with them in! I'd imagine it would be deafening without them. Im going to call the shop and see what they reckon.

Ive spoken to the shot and they reckon it might well be a fault with the visor. They said to send it back and they'll look at it and see.
