This is mainly for Nvidia owners as I don't have an AMD card to test!
For many months now while playing games I've been torn in using either Geforce Experience (YUCK) or the Nvidia Control Panel to sharpen up in game textures, which is especially helpful when using DLSS which can blur the game over the original depending on the version of DLSS being used in the game. The problem is not only can Geforce Experience cause crash issues such as in Battlefield 2042 or Warzone ( Others have mentioned this ), but it can hurt performance by up to 7 frames or more. It's better to use the Nvidia Control Panel but this again can hamper frame rates.
I asked on Guru3D if there's anyway of being able to sharpen up the textures without the performance impact of using Geforce Experience or the Nvidia Control Panel and sure enough someone came up with an answer which means I can uninstall that GE poss!...... " RESHADE "
Now I've used Reshade before, but not only has Reshade been updated which performs a lot better, but if you download the AMD CAS Fidelity Sharpen and only use that as one of the Reshade options, not only can you improve your textures with a set amount you choose, but so far the only frame rate loss I've experienced is 1 or 2 frames!
Give it a try
Thanks to Smough for the advice!

In Regards to bans ( you are only sharpening textures, and even Geforce Experience use Filters now a days "

Download Reshade
https://reshade.me/
Open Reshade - Select a game ( In my case it's Battlefield V )
Click Next and Select the API the game uses, in the case of Battlefield it's DX 10-12
"Select Preset to Install" just select next and when it asks to "Select the effect Packages to Install" : Make sure that only "Standard Effects" and "SweetFX by Ceejay.dk" are selected.
Select next and on the next screen "Select SweetFX files to install" make sure that everything is ticked, well it should be on default, click next and finish.
Download the AMD CAS Fidelity Sharpen filters
https://www.mediafire.com/file/z8eg5n7w3sh1obi/Reshade_AMD_Sharpening.rar/file
Unpack ONLY the three files contained within ie *.h and *.fx to the preinstalled shader folder of the game, created by Reshade. In my case
"C:\Origin Games\Battlefield V\reshade-shaders\Shaders"
Load the game
Open the Reshade Menu by pressing the HOME key
Select the AMD CAS Fidelity Sharpen option
I think the next option is either next or finish, and you should have a bar slider appear, move that across to sharpen the textures as much as you want!
Press HOME and the Reshade will close, and thankfully if all is working, it will look so much nicer at barely any frame rate loss, maybe 1 or 2 compared to Nvidia's painful Freestyle filters!
