Anyone on here got Shaun White snowboarding on the 360?

Thinking of getting it, just wondered what it was like. Any better than Amped 3?
 
I was really looking forward to this.
Unfortunatly all the reviews I've read so far say that while it's the best looking snowboarding game yet, it's a let down because the controls aren't up to much and the game is just riding about collecting coins, which gets quite tiresome.

I've decided just to rent it to see what its actually like, rather than buy it.
 
They say it's a lot more Skate than Tony Hawk.

Personally that's a good thing, but boils down to personal taste.

I'm still waiting for an SSX game though. :cool:
 
I wouldnt mind a snow boarding game but would definately wait for the best one to be released before grabbing this one in a hurry. Also slightly different topic but does anyone know if there is any bmx games coming out soon. I had dave mirra's freestyle bmx 2 on ps2 and it was awesome. Another one MUST be made :D
 
Saw this on Gadget Show yesterday (I think) and it got a good review.


Not a big Wii user myself, but played this with Balance Board at Eurogamer Expo, and I actually liked the controls tbh. Obviously the Balance Board looks well suited to skating and snowboarding games. It was the 1st time I controlled a home consoles game in this unique way so maybe I liked the gimmickyness, but the little I played was enjoyable, and I kinda like collecting coins and stuff :)

Maybe some of these negative review types have not tried it with the Balance Board?

Meh, got it on PS3. Not my thing, selling it here but nobody wants it so I'm guessing nobody thinks it's too good.
