shell i upgrade or wait ?

i've heard a lot of new hardware is just around the corner shell i wait or upgrade now, the specification i'm useing at the moment is AMD-4600, 2 gig ram ddr2 667, Nvidia 7650.512 ram graphics card, 360 gig s-ata-2 hard drive, windows vista my budget is 500 pounds any advice guys would you wait for that couple of months maybe next year.. sorry for the stupid question

Vista will be sooo much better with 4Gb and the Quad. And you'll be blown away with the GPU compared to the 7650 which you have atm.

EDIT: Forgot to say, obviously though new tech = higher prices, so that's always something to bear in mind.

Depends how urgent it is. People will always tell you to wait. If it's urgent then buy now, if not then wait.

Since I signed up in 2003, there has ALWAYS been something around the corner. You'll get to the end of August and someone will say wait next month for X and Y.

If your PC isn't performing how you need it to then you should upgrade. If it works well then leave it IMO
