Shell scripting books

They do these quite regularly but it's often a bit of a mixed bunch, I'm inclined to trust it more when it's say an O'Reilly or Wiley bundle than a Packt one, the former two tend to have a bit more quality control re: the authors whereas Packt can be quite variable.

Also when you get like 20 or so books in some bundle then chances you're actually going to use all of them?

There was some software archetecture one not too long ago by O'Reilly but it didn't include one of their most popular/well regarded book in that domain: Designing Data-Intensive Applications. So I assume that sometimes these bundles are a bit compromised, they're based on what the publisher is willing to, essentially, donate and so represent a less tha optimal collection for a given field even selecting from that one publisher.

But it's certainly worth keeping an eye on them and if there are even a few books out of any given bundle that might be useful then it seems very worthwhile!

Good point. I do keep an eye on Humble Bundle because occasionally they have a really good deal on a subject I want to learn.
