The only way that the body wasn't Sherlocks is if he used some of the hallucinogen from the last episode. If John was shouting Sherlocks name and going to the body then everyone around him would see what they think they should see after seeing a man jump and someone saying that it is Sherlock Holmes.
I'd think because he fired the gun inside his mouth, the entry wound would go unnoticed by a regular post mortem and the exit wound would be masked by the impact trauma. Also, I'm guessing the cyclist that hit Watson injected him with the chemical from the previous episode.

Come to think of it, didn't Sherlock ask John to keep an eye on him at all times? If it wasn't for the bumping into that random cyclist, Watson could spot Sherlock pulling a fast one.
I think there's some link with the screaming girl.
Moriarty in Holmes wig when he took them? There must be something there that ties in? He disguise himself as Holmes? All he'd need to do was unslick his hair?
Moriarty said 'You are me' didn't he? Gah, need to watch it again.
I thought I'd add this to the thread. If you haven't read the stories i'd advise that you do. I'd put them on the list of things you must read, they are much easier going than you may imagine. You can pick up the complete Sherlock Holmes which contains all the stories for very little.

The tags are pointless, personally didn't really like the ep, this was one of those episodes that pretended to be smart but was frustratingly stupid.
SPOILERS,
The reporter, at both points she was in it was stupid, more so the second time, he decided to commit a crime of treason while an actor for a bit of money? Even though he could LONG since have sold his story to any rag ages ago for a buttload, its beyond ridiculous, its so utterly unbelievable and one of the biggest parts of Moriaties plan that it made the episode crap for me.
There isn't a chance in hell Holmes would believe a few lines of code could break into anywhere to do anything, and why wouldn't he pick up on the beat/music, why wouldn't he recognise and translate it as not computer code at all, why meet him on the roof, why believe the assassins wouldn't kill his friends, with all that time he could easily have warned at least 2 of them(lestrade and Watson could hide easily, landlady, less easily but she probably has a gun somewhere he gave her) without issue.
The whole asking for a favour when he never normally would was a ridiculously huge give away and the ending, I was watching it with family and I said, will it be a smart incredibly subtle hint he's alive, or the classic, BBC, british tv, stupid blatant way of doing it..... then you saw him.
It was just too stupid to be believable at any point.
Feels like the first ep had 85% of the time, effort and money put into it, the second ep was awful in comparison and this ep, well, the two smartest people facing off with stupid plans and being painfully obvious throughout............. let down.

It all felt completely dumbed down and out of its depth, almost as if the writers thought wow thats a good idea and then lost interest in actually making it work.
Spoiled a perfectly good series of programs for me.
