He did exactly what I said I would do if I was him in that situation....nothing else he could have done.

If you were on the roof with a dead body, of similar colouring and ethnicity, wouldn't you take off your coat and scarf, put them on the corpse, muss up his hair and throw him off?

I know I would.

I thought that as well possibly, but the corpse was far from damaged beyond all recognition so surely people would have spotted pretty quickly?

No, you couldn't. John was hit by the bike and groggy, you saw a man with dark hair with blood on his face, nothing else.

If they take the lead from the orginal story, Holmes never fell at the Reichenbach Falls and Moriarty did ...

You saw two things, 1 Holmes falling, and 2 'a' body hitting the ground. Watson was behind a building at the time (he was specifically told to stay 'right there') the rest is based around the doc helping out.

Yes John was groggy and couldn't focus.....but everyone else could.

there was a lorries full of bags that could break a fall maybe Holmes fell into that and the body on floor was the guy who shot himself?
