I don't think even that, I guess Molly and Lestrade know. Maybe not even Lestrade.

Think back to the first ep, all foreshadowed in her saying DNA ID is easy to forge if you change the source.

Simple, after all he even said he trusted Molly
 
Because his whole face wasn't bloody? I mean Sherlock and Moriarty aren't that similar. Their photos have been in the paper for weeks, there's no way people could mistake the two surely. Let alone when police examine the body.

Dark haired man, mussy hair, right coat and scarf. Rushed away by ambulance staff right away. That's all they saw.

And the police would be Molly in this example, the woman he needed and wanted something from... easy peasy. After all it was foreshadowed in the very first episode, easy to fake a DNA test if you have access to the source

But there was no need to fake the DNA because ultimately what was seen was Sherlock coming off the top of the building, Watson distressed and all of Sherlocks closest thinking that he's dead. I don't think that it's that complicated

In TV world this never matters lol

All she needs to do is swap whatever Holmes DNA sample they have with one from the apple Moriarty left. Make that the base for the blood comparison and it
s done.

The bigger problem would be the bullet in the head in the post mortem. But I guess Molly could sort that too.

I do love Molly. She's just lovely... :D

First ep of the series...woman uses fake dna to fake death
Second ep...people are convinced by seeing things they want to see.

Third ep...combine the two. Faked DNA, and Watson, who we see the event through, see what he expects to see. He expects to see Holmes, and he does.

Brilliant foreshadowing through the ep and the series.

If that sequence was shot solely through the eyes of Watson then perhaps, but it wasn't. Not the part that screen cap was taken from, anyway lol. I think that's too obvious an answer, really.
