Mobile devices such as notebooks, netbooks, smartphones and tablet PCs are already very impressive, what can be achieved on a limited space is now powerful mini-computer. Now this trend has also reached the last bastion of the desktop computer in the form of the bare systems. The OcUK Tech Labs E350 Barebones provides enough power for use as office and internet computer, mini-server or flexible media player. Barebones are therefore ideal as a living room PC. With 28 times 28.2 times 9.5 centimeters is shown here in mini-PC about the size of a thick dictionary.

Featuring the AMD Hudson-M1 chipset and a dual-core Fusion APU at 1.60GHz. The Radeon HD 6310 graphics chip integrates and calculates mesmerising full HD images (1900-1080 pixels), via HDMI, DVI or VGA. for operation are two DDR3 memory modules, and an internal 3 0.5-inch SATA hard drive is necessary. The memory is expandable with desktop storage for up to eight gigabytes. An optical drive and additional storage can be fitted if required. It is also possible to install a PCI Express graphics card. In addition, six USB ports and three audio are built.

During assembly, the award-winning thermal compound comes from Prolimatech PK-1 is used. In addition, a matching 84-watt power supply is included. Also with a 4GB memory module and the right of Avexir is already there.

Please note that the continued operation of a 2.5-inch drive is needed, which is not part of this barebones. For a truly silent operation it is advisable to an SSD. A 5.25-inch optical Slim drive can also be installed

I appreciate these are quite old and have probably been bought as a job lot but would it be possible to see if there are any of the smaller TC-100A's available?

Nice, looks a lot like Hush technologies machines - which now I go looking for them, seem to have disappeared without a trace.

I would have to agree with Nath, get an SSD for this. When I had a totally fanless PC, it was amazing how much you miss the fan noise when you can hear HDD skittering instead.
