Is there a spefic tool for crimping Shielded Connectors on RJ45 Cable or will a standard crimping tool work as well?

There is a specific tool. What brand are the connectors?

Any crimp that is capable of handing 8/8 "data" RJ45 connectors will work fine

Personally, as I use my crimp a LOT in work I bought a good one, but can't link because it's a competitor

Its alright I went and got one sorted today, seems a lot better than the other crimping tool I had.
