Did'nt think so either.
Well some people just dont learn. We tell all the staff/teachers here every week in notices to back up their work but they prefer to learn the hard way.
Since the school has started to use electronic registration all staff have their own laptops and are setup on the admin system so all they have to do is save all their work to the S: drive on the admin server and their work would be backed up. Dont see anything hard about that myself.
Only trouble is we dont want them to back everything on the server (personal pics, videos etc) as it will be out of space in no time. This was'nt a problem when i started here as there were only approx 26 users on the admin network but now with all the teachers using the admin network i dont think it's a good idea to let them back-up everything on the server.
All the laptops have cdrw (some have dvdrw) and all staff have a pendrive and have been shown countless of times how to use these things so i can only put it down to laziness.
