Is there any way to shift the focus point on a rx100. I also have an Olympus that allows me to shift the focus to the right, left and up or down away from the centre of the frame by clicking a grid on its touch screenscreen. Thanks.

Unfortunately the instructions with the Sony RX100 are only a few pages. I just bought the Photographers Guide to the RX100 and so, hopefully this will sort me out?

If that's all you got with the camera then surely there's more online somewhere? I can't imagine a camera like that coming with just a few pages of instructions? :|

Yup though its a bit clunky. Menu > Page 2 > Autofocus Area > Flexible Spot. At least thats how you do it on the Mk1. You can then press the center button and re-choose the spot.

Excellent. Thank you. I see what you mean by "a bit clunky" ;)
