Hey guys, Is it risky yo buy a Pc from ocukto ship to Malta will the parts arrive in one piece? Help me really want to build a pc next summer?

Hiya,
I've had pc parts and car parts and some years ago gun parts from all over the world

Also i've shipped plenty of goods to usa/europe/asia

Not really had a problem (gearboxes to usa was a pain slightly as every drop of oil etc has to be removed) bar this nothing bad really

If they ship i wouldn't really worry too much and maybe ask about insurance cover

No more risky i think than shipping 50mile across land lol

They should arrive find, it will be better to get them shipped as components though - a whole PC would be very to likely recieve damage from the movement.

It's possible you'll get some damage to perhaps the GPU, fans or PSU but the odds aren't significantly worse than the normal chance of DOA components.

He means buy it in pieces and assemble it yourself, rather than buy a fully assembled one. Much lower chance of damage if every piece is in it's own box surrounded by foam. Drop OcUK a note saying you're worried about it, and they'll probably tape all the boxes to each other to stop them crashing around as much. I've yet to have anything damaged on arrival, and I don't think that's particularly rare.
