Shiraz RIp communication/Server/Data error?

I work at a Signmaker/large format printers, and im having problems with the software, i dont expect you to know the software etc but i'd just like to see if anyone has had similiar problems with other software or even try and track the problem down. I'd try the official website but as we aren't within the maintenance terms no more i dont think we have access to this.
Although i will check.

Basically the problem being when we send a file to the shriaz rip to be printed etc, nothing appears, upon reboot and start of the software it then appears within the RIP software, but not unless we do reboot.
This has happened before and a fresh install of the software helped.

But this was several months ago and it has arisen once more.

The only current hardware problem ive seen is a harddisk is erroring upon boot within the BIOS screens,
2 identical HDD's, being Port 0 and port 1.
Ive checked and we do have RAID drivers installed, so i presume this is a RAID setup.

Has anyone had similiar problems with other software or hardware problems and could the RAID setup possibly cause corruption like this or could this possibly be just completly down to the software, you recon?

probably not the solution/answer you were hoping for but could you not try some imaging software? fresh install and make an image then when it fails restore from the image to run again?
