I recently learnt that a friend of mine has been purposely spilling diesel on roundabouts and corners of roads.

He had a nice car which was smashed into by a biker, and the car was wrecked.

Since then he has been throwing diesel out of his window from a plastic soft drink bottle to "get the ***** bikers back".

I thought this was a troll, but I saw it for myself on a private video.

How serious is this? How much trouble could he be in if caught, and finally, he used to be a good guy, but he has been going through some serious stuff recently, should I even think about reporting this?

Just imagine a bike on the inside lane of a roundabout, and a lorry on the outside lane. What happens if/when the bike loses all traction?

what ??? he is seriously a fruitbat tell the police now and make sure they go and see this fool before someone gets killed.

It's basically attempted murder. Hitting diesel on a bike is like sheet black ice.

Report him. Kick **** out of him. Burn his car out. Throw him out of your car at speed. Any of the above are suitable.

Geezus what a utter retard. So his car gets hit by a bike and he decides to take his fustration out on other bikers??

As people have said shop to him to the police asap. He is going to get someone killed with his level of stupidity.

Can't believe you actually have to ask the question on what to do / are even debating ignoring it

Get on the phone to the police ASAP and provide the video

Guy has his car smashed into by a biker, so decides to start making it easier for other bikers to lose control and smash into other cars. Your friend is an utter cretin.

I'd report it to the police, then re-evaluate your friendship with him.

This is the problem, if he was to get a warning or something then Id consider this, however I do not know if this comes under any other law.... Envionmental hazard law, Vandalism? I just do not know, as I have never, ever heard of any person doing this before.

Don't see why you should care what laws it comes under, its not your job to worry about that, and if you can ignore this and not tell anyone about it then I feel that you should reevaluate more than just your friendship!

Would you rather your friend got at best psychactric help and a warning / at worst locked up, or have the death of an innocent road user on your conscience because you could have done something to prevent it?

Report report report.

I cant believe you need to ask on here what to do!

You know and have evidence that he is willfully acting to cause other road users harm/injuy/death etc... And your umming and arring about calling the Police??

If not for the sake of other road users then do it for the sake of your m8, and if that isnt enough of an incentive then do it for yourself!

How would you live with yourself if anything happened (lets say a death of a person) due to your m8's actions and you did nothing to help prevent that!

Jeez, wake up!

Say the police saw you throwing water/coke/coffee out of your window, they would stop you for littering I guess. How does this change if the fluid is diesel?

From the video, it just looks like someone is pouring water/soft drink out of the window.

He did a full lap of a roundabout and it was a 2L bottle, then drove off.

any biker/two wheeled road user is in epic danger! get it sorted asap report to police, slap your mate hard enough or just lock him in a box because he should not be allowed out.

scum.

It doesn't matter, what they charge him with isn't your problem just get it reported.

Why does it matter?

You'd honestly be able to live with yourself if a biker dies at that roundabout due to a 'diesel spillage'?

Report it.
